United Rentals new Aluminium Manhole Shoring Box offers all the benefits of using United Rentals other robust yet still lightweight aluminium shoring systems, but with in-built 525mm returns to create a semi-4-sided system that is perfect for use in manholes and standalone pits. The Aluminium Manhole Shoring Box uses the same struts as our Modular Aluminium Panel System and has a total capacity of 20kPa. At just 283kg per panel, this shoring solution is incredibly lightweight and, in good soil conditions, can save contractors a lot of time and money by being able to use such a lightweight system.

Another value-add to this already great product is United Rentals pre-build service, where if transport conditions permit, United Rentals will pre-build your shoring box before delivery so that when it arrives at your job site, it’s ready to install straight away to save even more time and money on your project.

United Rentals Aluminium Manhole Shoring Boxes are an incredibly versatile and safe trench shoring system for general construction and utilities contractors, with the flexibility to use a range of different struts. Our shoring boxes are designed to effectively support trenches up to any depth, provided the Working Load Limit (WLL) of the relevant box is not exceeded.
